The Dr. Uchechi Okereke Scholarship and Youth Empowerment Foundation bridges the gap, giving promising young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the support they need to succeed academically, personally, and professionally.
Why This Scholarship Exists
Dr. Uchechi Okereke created this scholarship from a deeply held belief: talent exists in every corner of Ovim, but opportunity does not. This initiative bridges that gap, giving promising students from disadvantaged backgrounds the support they need to succeed.
Beyond covering tuition, the program builds leadership skills and connects scholars with mentors, preparing them to become change makers in their own communities.
Eligibility
Open to Ovim youths aged 17–25 who have gained admission to, or are in their first year at, a Nigerian tertiary institution, face significant financial hardship, and are committed to giving back to Ovim.
